Packing Bedding For Moving The Right Way

When you’re in the process of moving, it’s imperative to have the right type of boxes when you move. Obviously a box for dishes or heavy items will be a lot different when it comes to packing up your bedding materials. However, there some things to learn when it comes to packing sheets, pillows, blankets, and comforters. It seems pretty straightforward, however, many seem to miss the details when it comes to making this process goes smoothly. If done correctly, this task can go rather quick and easy.

The materials

When deciding on your packing for bedding materials, you’ll discover you only need a few packing materials to complete the job. Here are a list of items you will need:

  • Large and medium cardboard boxes
  • Plastic bags
  • Packing paper
  • Roll of packing tape
  • Permanent marker

Here are the specific uses for each of the items listed above:

Packing paper

There should be a stack of white paper that is long enough two line boxes and create a protection player.

Packing tape

The best thing you can do here is to make sure you by tape that is of good quality.

Plastic bags

These are used to specifically protect your bedding items from getting either soiled or ruined during your overall move. Cardboard boxes

These can either be medium or large. It’s best to put your lighter packing into the large boxes along with bigger items such as comforters or pillows. Use the medium boxes for sheets, blankets and towels. Pick cheap moving boxes instead of high expensive ones.

Marker

Using the color black is probably the best option because it stands out when writing labels on your boxes.

However, if you have already packed away your fluffy bedroom materials, you may find yourself having to unpacked fragile items to use the bedding as a protective cover.
